GBCHealth serves as a hub for private sector engagement on the world's most pressing global health issues. Since 2001, GBCHealth has worked with hundreds of members -- individually and in partnership with one other -- to tackle the challenges of HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Malaria, Diabetes and other health issues facing the workplace and communities where business is conducted.

The Voices project has teamed up with GBCHealth in a number of ways to bring greater involvement of the private sector to malaria control in Africa.  Voices has produced a guide for private sector partners to invest in malaria, Malaria Safe, and GBCHealth is getting that guide to its partners across Africa in English speaking, Francophone and Lusaphone countries. Voices has teamed up with GBCHealth’s Corporate Alliance on Malaria in Africa to conduct exciting outreach during the 2012 African Cup of Nations under the banner of the United Against Malaria Campaign.  Using Voices popular football magazine, GOAL!, Marathon Oil is sponsoring 40,000 copies of Goal in Spanish, French and English to be distributed to fans.  GOAL! Is chock full of malaria prevention and treatment information and a quiz to test readers knowledge of malaria. See the African Cup of Nations page for more information.
