On World Malaria Day, Ivorian partners lead the fight

Telecom company MTN, together with United Against Malaria Partners JHU-CCP, Unicef, and Speak Up Africa, developed a mini-campaign in April 2012 to help promote the consistent use of insecticide-treated bednets.  One year later, MTN has relaunched the campaign, including this video in French, to celebrate World Malaria Day 2013.

Elsewhere in Cote d'Ivoire, UAM partners met with Ivorian Minister of Health, Mme. GOUDOU Coffie (at right), who said, “We rely on you to mobilize the private sector for the fight against malaria."

The UAM partnership is growing within the country, where malaria prevelance rates are among some of the highest in sub-Saharan Africa. To learn more, please see the UAM case study on the Cote d'Ivoire page.
