On Thursday, April 23, 2009, the Global Health Council, Population Services International and the Johns Hopkins University Global Program on Malaria held a congressional briefing, which focused on the successes achieved in Rwanda in the face of serious challenges and featured first-person accounts of how U.S. congressional funding supports progress in the fight against malaria in Africa.
